This book would definitely keep children interested because it incorporates music and the poems and songs are about a variety of topics. This book can teach children a lot about poetry and they will enjoy reading it or listening to it being read or sang from the CD that is included.

This story is an biography of Martin Luther King Jr's life. It's very inspirational and the illustrations are beautiful. It will teach children to stand up for what they believe it and that everyone should be considered equal. It talks how Martin Luther fought, protested, helped others and made speeches about equal rights. In the back t has "big words" such as freedom, peace and together. There are also inspirational quotes on the pages. There is so much you could teach children using this book and I thought it was really great.
